Blessing or Curse, You Can Choose by Derek Prince

"Freedom from pressures you thought you had to live with."
Here I've had this book in my profile as one of my favorites, and Ive never done a post about it. This book helped me so much. I was reading this book prior to going and getting deliverance at the church in Toronto.

Prince had some deep wisdom regarding many things pertaining to our spiritual well being. Christians are naive about the impact that many things can have, down the road, on their lives, such as dabbling in use of the Ouija board, or reading Harry Potter. Prince understands these things.

Here is the review found on Amazon:

Some people seem to get more than their share of success and fulfillment, while others suffer repeated failure and frustration. Why is this so?

With over 200,000 copies sold, Blessing or Curse has given thousands of believers a biblical understanding of two forces at work in every life: blessings and curses. Now with a new introduction by the author and a chapter-by-chapter study guide, this tenth-anniversary edition will enable many more to enjoy the benefits of God's blessings and protect themselves from curses that may have originated in a previous generation.

A curse, says Prince, is not an obsolete Old Testament concept. He draws on real-life experiences of believers-including himself-who realized that successions of misfortunes were not God's doing, or even happenstance, but resulted from a curse. The author helps readers determine if they could be under a curse, explores the many causes of a curse, and offers clear direction for applying God's remedy.

From the Back Cover
Are you continually frustrated by sickness, financial pressure, strained relationships? Or perhaps accidents happen to you or your family with perplexing regularity. Do you wonder why some people seem to get more than their share of success and fulfillment?

Derek Prince suggests that two forces are at work in every life: blessings and curses. One is beneficial, the other harmful. To enjoy the benefits of God's blessings and be protected from curses, we need to understand how these forces work.

Over 200,000 readers have found biblical understanding in Blessing or Curse. Now this special tenth anniversary edition adds a new introduction by the author and a chapter-by-chapter study guide.

Prince shows dramatically that a curse is not a superstition from the Dark Ages. He draws on real-life experiences of people who were astonished to discover that they were not the victims of blind chance-or even of heredity. Rather, the problem was a curse that might have originated in a previous generation. Most important, Prince shows you how to recognize a curse at work in your life and helps you find release and God's blessings.

Derek Prince is an internationally recognized Bible expositor with a worldwide radio ministry that reaches more than half the globe. He is the author of more than forty books, including Atonement, Your Appointment with God and Husbands and Fathers.

(End of review)actually, Prince is dead now - he died in his late 80s.
