The last couple of days I've been in a conference headed by two awesome men: John Arnott of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, and Che Ahn, of Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, California. Che Ahn is from South Korea, and is amazing. I just don't know what to say except that he is amazing. He talked about the seven mountains of culture - Family, Religion, Education, Government, Business,Media, Arts (& Entertainment,) and that we as Christians are meant to be the head and not the tail and to dominate all seven of these mountains of culture, but we are not!
But what I wanted to share is what John Arnott talked about. John is a very anointed man, senior pastor of the church that has birthed so many movements worldwide, including the movement "The Call" that Che Ahn is head of. John is dripping with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
He talked about Mary, who poured out the Alabaster of oil on Jesus' feet, and her extravagant love for him. He talked about the virgins who had oil and were not left behind. He said that this is talking about those who are in a love relationship with God.
We must have a love relationship with God where He is the object of our desire. We just need to get a hold of the fact that if you desire God above all else, and know that He loves you - nothing else matters. Nothing can go wrong in life. All your needs are taken care of. When you love God you love others, everything falls into place.
During the season of love, this message is so important.
