Saying that the death toll from the recent earthquake could reach 50,000 is beyond comprehension. Do we have anything in America that comes close to paralleling that? How would we respond? Saying that over 100,000 are injured is also unfathomable. Nature can be cruel.
I don't think you can attribute this to global warming, but it does seem to be a firm reminder that we're in the last days.

This is not to minimize the devastation due to the recent quake, but to put it in an historical perspective.
Where did you find that? That's amazing. I just can't imagine that happening in the U.S.
