poem for memorial Day

Ode for Memorial Day

Done are the toils and the wearisome marches,
Done is the summons of bugle and drum.
Softly and sweetly the sky overarches,
Shelt’ring a land where Rebellion is dumb.
Dark were the days of the country’s derangement,
Sad were the hours when the conflict was on,
But through the gloom of fraternal estrangement
God sent his light, and we welcome the dawn.
O’er the expanse of our mighty dominions,
Sweeping away to the uttermost parts,
Peace, the wide-flying, on untiring pinions,
Bringeth her message of joy to our hearts.

Ah, but this joy which our minds cannot measure,
What did it cost for our fathers to gain!
Bought at the price of the heart’s dearest treasure,
Born out of travail and sorrow and pain;
Born in the battle where fleet Death was flying,
Slaying with sabre-stroke bloody and fell;
Born where the heroes and martyrs were dying,
Torn by the fury of bullet and shell.
Ah, but the day is past; silent the rattle,
And the confusion that followed the fight.
Peace to the heroes who died in the battle,
Martyrs to truth and the crowning of Right!

Out of the blood of a conflict fraternal,
Out of the dust and dimness of death,
Burst into blossoms of glory eternal
Flowers that sweeten the world with the breath.
Flowers of charity, peace, and devotion
Bloom in the hearts that are empty of strife;
Love that is boundless and broad as the ocean
Leaps into beauty and fullness of life.
So, with the singing of paeans and chorals,
And with the flag flashing high in the sun,
Place on the graves of our heroes the laurels
Which their unfaltering valor has won!

the HARD man

A lady from my hometown who moved to Butte in Montana's heyday wrote in her autobiography that she loved the devil. She said she was not happy but could not help herself. She even admitted that people who loved God were happy.
There I met up with the truth about women and the devil.
Why are they attracted?
I think it's bc they are attracted to the hard man, the evil male, who is ruthless.
And it is partly sexual.
Our women have probably been the inspiration for many a Genghis Khan.
Men desire to be what women want
Today they, in their love ( or lust) want to drive men away from Christ and to Satan.
In the garden God required of Adam to not follow Eve but him being the "old Adam" not the new, could not obey that. God asks men today to obey Him.. not following women into the pit of destruction that they don't mind heading towards. Only the new Adam makes that possible. Jesus so loved his mother but if she had tried to keep him from..the cross he would not have obeyed.

goals, future

If you have goals, things you want to accomplish with your life late into life....IT IS GOOD!!
Me, I still want to maybe work in film, I have music to publish, art to draw. Lots of future to embark on. Travel.
It helps you to stay alive and keeps your mind sharp, gives you motivation and energy.

female supremacy?

There are plenty of males I encounter whose minds are broken. At the charity many males are white. I've encountered a fair number of white males I'm their thirties who are homeless. Two males in our family, white, came back from college messed up. Is this a satanic female supremacy gig?
Females try to take advantage of what they see of males with regards to their natural desires and instincts regarding women.
There are males who lack understanding of women and their subversive ways. Their love of Satan.
I wonder if Mohammed saw something like this back in the 600s and incited men to prove once again it's a man's world, being fed up with their women.
Women perhaps being nihilistic seek to be put in chains and nun costumes. Once again.
Women called upon Western males to improve. Lose chauvinism. Men responded and improved. Women took advantage of their tender heart towards women.

Booth last words

Quote: Upon jumping to the stage after shooting President Lincoln, Booth shouted "Sic semper tyrannis!" (Latin for "Thus always to tyrants"), which is also the state motto of Virginia.

End of quote.

Booth was angry at Lincoln for freeing people but since at the expense of a way of life in the South, (?) he considered Lincoln a tyrant?
This is twisted twisted thinking.

So the freeing of people being at the root of losing the South's type of economy and luxury meant he hated Lincoln for freeing them and even called him a tyrant?

I'm not making any sort of connection between today's protesters saying anything about Trump being a tyrant. If people are concerned and want accountability there is nothing wrong with that. People should be allowed to express themselves and cause others to think.

I'm talking about the Confederacy at the time of Lincoln's assassination. That crazy of white supremacy plus the narcissism of wanting the lifestyle slavery afforded the South rather than wanting freedom for slaves while in a country that espouses liberty and pursuit of happiness for everyone, is a hypocrisy that needed correcting. Yet, people like booth thought their cause just. And assassination appropriate. Hard to believe.

This kind of thinking is what we need to be on guard against...
 Today!
It has a way of getting into people like a virus.

where do u go....

When u want to flee the fools who are corrupt?
Go to Chinatown. Bc you have heard of they who have the wisdom to know of the true source, true freedom, genuine love.
You have heard of their courage, how they have fought for freedom on their own territory, freedom of faith.
Courage and freedom.
You have to get away from Americans to find these. Unreal!

Rapscallions?

Is the trouble in the twin cities merely the work of mischief seeking haters who want to cause trouble?

beware of

Medications and side effects. I see ads for male enhancement drugs. Alongside the great expectations it's supposed to give they warn you of suicidal urges etc.   good God...is it worth it?

unbeliever can't understand

But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters}
1 Cor 2:14

Berean Standard Bible
The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Hashem is mysterious

He's a hilarious English comedian from that era making such an important observation.

Greece: The First Door

16 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols. 17 Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there. 18 Then certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, “What does this BABBLER

want to say?”

Others said, “He seems to be a proclaimer of FOREIGN GODs,” because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection.

19 And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, “May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak? 20 For you are bringing some STRANGE things to our ears. Therefore we want to know what these things mean.” 21 For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some NEW thing. (The Greeks were progressive people.)

Addressing the Areopagus

22 Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, “Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very RELIGIOUS; 23 for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription:

TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.

Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: 24 God (Hashem, Adonai) who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. 25 Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. 26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, 27 so that they should seek the Lord(Adonai), in the hope that they might GROPE FOR HIM and FIND HIM, though He is not far from each one of us;

28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. 30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

This was the beginning of true love for Gentiles. Here is a Jew reaching out to Gentiles, telling us how their God offers to us adoption by Abraham to walk with God as if we are also Jews.

A Miighty Forrtress for modern times

A mighty Fortress is our God
A Bulwark never failing
Our Helper He amid the flood
Of mortal ills prevailing
For still our ancient foe
Doth seek to work us woe
Resigning us to fate
And, armed with cruel hate
But he must lose the battle.

Did we in our own strength confide
Our striving would be losing
Were not the right Man on our side
The Man of God's own choosing
Dost ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is He
Lord Sabaoth His Name
From age to age, the same
On Earth is not His equal.

And though this world, with devils filled
Should threaten to undo us
We will not fear, for God hath willed
His truth to triumph through us
The Prince of Darkness grim
We tremble not for him
His rage we can endure
For lo, his doom is sure
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers
No, thanks to them, abideth
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
Through Him who with us sideth
Let goods and ego go
The temporal also
Though hope they try to kill
God's truth abideth still
His Kingdom is forever.

what kind of plot?

It is nearly impossible to talk to people about what is obvious. Ayn Rand said that there is no point in trying to talk to people about what is obvious that they ought to know.
Years ago I tried to talk about my only interface with Harry Potter novels.
I had one of the books in my possession at my house in South Minneapolis. I didn't need to read the book, and could hardly stand to begin to.
The book I knew was sorcerous and even its presence in my home was unsettling. I had a chandelier above my dining room and it started to flicker. I knew it was demonic. I could not bear to have the book in my house. I took the book, put it in a bag and set it outside my house just to be free from it's negative powers.
The writer has made over 32
billion dollars from her novels and movies.
It is sickening that people don't seem to know how souls, mainly of gen y were lured into sorcery through these novels.
Either they don't know or they don't want to admit.
I find it nearly impossible to warn people but there is unbearable judgement ahead for all who have participated in this.
I find it hard to hear that these novels are supposed to be inspired by Christianity.
All Rowling has needed to do is espouse"conservative" political ideas and suddenly she's a saint, while sitting on 32 billion dollars made from seducing our young people with sorcery.

Not my will, but thine...

I need to laugh. I said to God, "Here Am I Send Me" and "Not my will but thine be done..."
Wow! You never know what that will mean if you really mean it, or how God might take you up on what you declared!
So then maybe things don't go as you had wanted, but you realize, you aren't bored like you were, and maybe there are things you never knew you were capable of ..maybe only God can show you what you are capable of. In finding out that you have strengths and gifts you never knew you had you also now realize..there is a type of person in this world you never would have believed you are suited for, bc you never knew how they would appreciate what you are, bc you never knew that's what you are.
And so you realize that you never could find your soul mate back before God started to challenge you to "be all you can be" joining His army.
But without the adversity of reality, you never really spread those wings.
And God's work in your life is tested for how concrete that is.
We see in the book of Job the strange reality that this is something God proves to Satan. Why that is I'm still not exactly sure.
He says in Isaiah 55 "My Ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not your thoughts. As the heavens are higher than the earth so My Ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Amen!

see Greece:The First Door

See how Paul the Apostle talks about "groping" for Almighty God in order to find Him.
And this is where and how I have the belief that people can start from any point, any religion, any place on earth and if they are groping to find God they can and they can find Christ. Jesus said that no one comes to the father except through Him but this is not salvation He's talking about but actually having relationship with God.
Salvation can occur earlier on as a person gropes to find God. If God sees someone "groping" He sees them as having a heart that desires salvation.
Finding a relationship with God is probably more of the reason any of us ought to desire to preach or bring the truth of Christ to people.
