Black People and Swedes

We have this in common. A long history of Christian faith that has not been false. My ancestors came here as a refuge from political Christianity and oppression.

Black people transcended much of their pain through faith and this began as far back as the 1600s. 

Both clung to faith, the journey different but the reaching for hope in the face of humiliation and deprivation the same. 

I'm understand that Pharrell Williams' family dates back to the 1600s in Virginia. All.i can say is wow. Pharrell represents transcending, and probably faith had much to do with it. 

Today we have an epidemic of rebellion, lack of honor for generations before, and nihilism.

Plenty of people I ve talked to about the George Floyd case have said it sounds contrived to cause conflict. 

This seems to be the same, Minnesota s present problem. When will you get it?

A guy just took out a gun against federal officers. You don't do such a thing without getting shot yourself, don't be idiots. You feel above everything that's rational. 

Immigration controls have gone on for decades. What is different now?

Just perhaps Trump politicizing this. Get a clue and stop playing into their hands. 

I think I see the problem

Someone just apprised me of the fact that under Clinton and Obama millions were deported in the past. It's not new.

What caused trouble I think is Trump announcing this as some big deal and I would guess bc Minnesota is purple but more blue lately. So it became very politicized. Reason why zealous white Democrats lost their lives. Hysteria and fear.

Jesus exactly reiterates the words of Micah

For I have come to turn

Vs 21

“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death..."

Jesus explains that the real turning point is himself, Christ. Hatred for God and His ways is exposed more by Christ. He asks people to turn cold or hot not lurk in a vague sense of believing in Him or not. The vague really masks that a person isn't "sold" on God and His ways. 

Not talking about being "saved" from hell but being saved from negative things if you endure, and don't give up. 

corrupt times we have seen before

That passage that says not to long for tines past reminds us that people have had to cope with corruption in the past, it's not new. In fact, there are times of the past so dark you want to cringe. You wonder how people survived. 

Humans return to their evil more easily than you want to believe. 

Humans crawl back into darkness so easily. Disappointing, but true.

to try to stop illegal immigration?? That's my first question. Second, haven't they been doing this for a long time already? So why are locals getting so nuts over this?

Minneapolis and st Paul

People in the area are very restless and unhappy. Something like the Floyd incident or the ICE shooting simply gives them a reason to vent, get angry, throw tantrums. 

Evaluating video of ICE crisis

I tried to post the video that shows what went down in Minneapolis recently. 

Those two females sought to drive in and stop the ice agents on their own. Renee would not respond to the officer who told her to get out of the car. If a federal officer is at your door telling you to get out, you get out, you fools 

Her friend got out on the passenger side and insulted the officers telling them to go get lunch.

Renee, sitting in the driver's seat told the officer who she was blocking, "I'm not mad at you!" 

Oh, I suppose the officer is supposed to be thinking, "I'm so relieved they you are not mad at ME!"

This is the height of stupidity. Then in this same video, after Renee yells "no" (bc she was about to be arrested?) and closes her driver door and drives off you can hear a kind of thud which must be her nicking the officer, then you hear the shots. I heard two.  I'm sorry but people like this are asking for trouble. I'm not saying he was right but those who were there who could see better what happened have to decide. And they do not respect authority. And I am asking the question, is it wrong to clamp down on illegal immigration? Look at how much trouble we already have with housing.

Maybe they are too harsh, are not fair about it. I don't know. But I find it hard to believe these two ladies just CARE so much about immigrants rather than they were making this a big political thing against Trump. 

I think they were bringing this on themselves. You have to respect authority even if they aren't exactly what you want to deal with. 

Was it anti male too? 

We have leaders like Frey who don't like them either. Wasn't it arrogance? "We will do this ourselves." 

And she left children motherless bc of this. 

Can't we let our leaders figure this out?

This was a bigger effort to stop illegal immigration directed towards Minnesota,.maybe bc they expect there to be more of it in Minnesota. 

But haven't they been trying to stop illegal immigration for a long time? It's not new. Once again Minnesotans needed drama. 

Jimmy Kimmel said "she was a devout Christian" yeah, who was married to another woman?

And was this another political cause? Like those ICE guys maybe would not like their homosexuality!

It's frustrating bc it was so avoidable. And bc the kids were less important than a political cause where they imagined they were in the American revolution or something. 

I've had to deal with officers in the last few years who are not moral and maybe not rational. If you feel you are dealing with officers if this kind, the last thing you want to do is piss them off or give them any reason to accuse you of misconduct. 

All the more reason you don't insult them. 

This was foolish and but did not have to happen!  But maybe it was an accident waiting to happen. 

Noem's narrative that this was terrorism was actually correct. When citizens come charging in telling federal officers what to do, blocking them and insisting the officers obey them, this does constitute terrorism. 

One Person's Life

Everything said put aside about what happened in Minneapolis, just know that one person's life is more valuable than anything in the world and that what he is terribly tragic and sad. 

I'm sharing that sadness. 

Any human life is mortal here but becomes immortal on the other side and questions about that person, what will happen next always haunts...if you know it matters.

Who works at a convenience store. He's no special guy necessarily, and he said that the problem today is people don't get enough love. Wow. So true. 

ICE (or IPS?) in Minneapolis

While there's a heavy amount of actual ice on streets and sidewalks, ICE came to town to round up somebody I guess.

But it's incredibly hard to get truth isn't it?

I pieced together an interview with a local that aured plus videos that showed in the news on the same day.

This lady was being a fool. 

She apparently was, on her own, blocking an ice vehicle with her own, running around like Nathan hale warning people in the neighborhood, and when i

iCE people then tried to confront her and it was probably to arrest her for interfering with them she resisted arrest. Didn't she?

She was in her vehicle then took off.  They claim the officer who shot her feared for his life. 

It's very possible this was true. 

But seeing a video is difficult that shows this. 

I realize officers like these can be rednecks and I've worried how they treat illegals. 

But truth is they were authorized. And that's something Renee ought to have taken to heart rather than a bullet. 

If she disagreed with how they do things she needed to trust Minnesota authorities who also question this type of officer and not be so ridiculous as to try to fix things herself. Maybe the female hero image overplayed deceived her. 

And it's important in dealing with officers to realize they are pumped up, tense, knowing the scene they go to may mean violence. You don't want to piss them off. 

Even if they are unjust you should not try to attack them, especially as one female against the whole lot of them. 

Foolish!

But what I'm dealing with is worry over her child which should have had priority ove playing this female hero, destroying her life!!

I hope the husband who left her may now be able to father him. 

And I think it's important to ask if people who are illegal in living here should be returned to their countries?

I think what is important is how this is done and that people like this can still have their dignity. I just disagree with treating them as subhumans. 

Also it's important to consider all of our immigrants who are here legally and that perhaps dealing with illegal immigration is helpful to them, maybe makes their lives safer. 

I talked to a dude in Rosarito Mexico who wanted to escape to the States. I could sympathize with him, but there still are reasons why illegal immigration is not considered lawful. 

I don't think anger against correcting this is the right attitude. 

I just hope that these people are not abused on account of some self righteous attitude that since you are breaking this law now you are a wicked soul and human trash. I could sympathize with someone like this. It doesn't mean they should do this. 

But how sad this lady believes so strongly that illegal immigrants should not be dealt with that she wants to sacrifice her life for this and leave behind her child. 

I heard the suggestion that the tires of the car be shot rather than her, but in action movies they do this a lot and it results in the vehicle reeling out of control, landing in another vehicle and exploding. 

So she may have also died this way but so might others.

I have an old friend I met in kindergarten who is on the left. She wanted me to have "a reliable news source" so she got me the new york times..I love the new York times I don't feel as if they try to push on me a liberal mindset. I feel like I get straight news.
