She taught me to be loyal - to God
to country
to people

She taught me to take care of my body
the four basic food groups
exercise

She taught me to love God and His word

She taught me to be patient
and to withstand adversity
and never to give up

She taught me to be careful with money

She taught me to respect people
to give
to love

She taught me to be thankful

I know she taught me other things
but the list is too long

She is one unsung heroine
and I am so lucky to call
her my mom!
