What Women Can Be

Women writers, English, of the past have written some of the most insightful, sensitive, meaningful literature ever written. It shows that women who are not corrupted can have amazing minds. Call to mind George Eliot the pen name for a writer named Jane who wrote as beautiful literature as Charles Dickens. In my opinion maybe better literature than him. Her characters are wonderful three dimensional people, her men are moral and heroic, she admired christians and Jews. Then call to mind two women who wrote children's stories, Black Beauty and I Am David, both made into beautiful films.  Daphne DU Maurier wrote "Rebecca" which Hitchcock shortly after made into a movie. It is a haunting commentary on western life. She saw evil in women. All are intelligent yet having life in their souls.
