Can a chiropractor cause harm?
Conclusions Spinal manipulation, particularly when performed on the upper spine, is frequently associated with mild to moderate adverse effects. It can also result in serious complications such as vertebral artery dissection followed by stroke"
Wow. Pretty serious words.
I just talked to a friend who lives in Massachusetts. She had neck and back pain solved with just a quick adjustment by a chiropractor.
She grew up with a health professional. She says the medical profession frowns on natural remedies. She says they call chiropractic s a cult.
So, you can see competition there. And thats why maybe not take them as gospel truth. They support pharmaceutical companies. The serious of that was shown in the movie The Fugitive. That man's wife was murdered by a pharmaceutical company that wanted him to be blamed bc he was trying to expose their unlawful deeds as an honest doctor. Sad how medicine has become so profit driven. Yet am I saying I despise it? No. I've been helped much by doctors and surgeons and I don't believe medicines are ALL BAD.
My east coast friend says the healing of touch is important. Yes or no. It could be something horrible if the one touching is a negative energy. If they are a positive, then yes, touch can be healing.
So my conclusion is that one needs to be absolutely confident in the chiropractor, and then the person may be able to work wonders.
A chiropractor himself just responded to my question s about the warning given above. He says that the warning about the neck, spine and stroke is a concern mainly if someone has conditions or medication that can cause those actions to be hazardous. He said even the shampooing neck brace used in a beauty salon can cause this. Or, leaning one's head back far when painting a ceiling. He said, I agree, any doctor or health professional can be a hazard if they don't follow caution or don't know what they are doing. Again the need for knowing the professional is great. He said one should interview anyone like that b4 having them do work.
I've been in divine healing ministry. Personally, I feel strongly about whomever might touch me. I want to be sure about anyone like that. And anyone altering or adding or whatever to my body which is God's temple I want to be sure about.
I can see certain conditions could be well treatef by a chiropractor. The neck and back pain that would not go away that my friend had is one. Sciatica another. Lower back pain from pulling things in lower back another. Funny thing, I've had both of those, both WERE healed through prayer. And the hands were of people in ministry.
A black minister laid hands on me for healing and my back, lower, was instantly healed here in Minneapolis.
A coworker in healing ministry laid hands on for sciatica and it healed.
Nevertheless, a chiropractor might be a spiritual healer if he wanted while administering professional care. Or any doctor.
A good example of the marriage of the two was an amazing psychologist who also operated in great power of the holy spirit who helped me immensely. I both saw hm at his office and at the church out of which he ministered.
