Here is one the last of the big war (WWII) guys left. He's 83, and he would have been deployed as a Naval officer, but the atomic bomb kept him from having to go into battle. He is seen here reading his paper as he does every single morning at around 9:00 AM, sharp. He is my dad. He is part of "the greatest generation," a generation that stopped a mad man who annihilated six million Jews, tortured countless others and tried to take over the world. They are a disciplined, principled generation and will be sorely missed.
Thank you to all the other war veterans out there!
