why 'Black Lives Matter' sounds irritating
I was born the year Rosa Parks refused to sit on the back of the bus. It was a milestone in civil rights history. I have watched the development of civil rights, black equality, from childhood.. "Black Lives Matter" sounds like something you say to an ignorant fool who never even thought that they matter. It's not that we don't already know they matter, it's that black people are an integral part of who we are as Americans. Blacks have helped to make us who we are as Americans. Blacks are part of why we are exceptional and great. We've made some gross mistakes. But where we have done right, black people were often a part of it. America, in the last 100 years only, invented film including animation, and every contemporary style of music was birthed in America, mainly because of our black people. And because blacks are so important to what we are, they are a target of our enemies, the enemies within that Lincoln warned us we would have. Blacks represent freedom and our extreme creative contribution to this world. Haters, who destroy us from within hate what black represents. https://photos.app.goo.gl/U339NBwg4VHqHpce8
