"Excess on occasion is exhilarating.
It prevents moderation from acquiring
the deadening effect of a habit."
- W. Somerset Maugham
The following is an eletter I received from Burt, who is doing on of his joy spritzing seminars:
Dearly Beloved You-ness,
As a man of great humus and humidity , I'm often asked real deep questions.
Such as, "Why does God allow suffering?"
"Will there be cats in Heaven?"
And "Say, when are you going to be spritzing near the DC area?"
Well, at least let's go ahead and knock out that last one right now.
Yours troobly will be doing a Joy Seminar, on Saturday, July 5th, at the Messiah Conference in Grantham, Pa., held at Messiah College (near Gettysburg, not too far from DC, a pretty ride up Rt. 15 from I-270.)
This Joy Spritz-o-Rama is entitled, "How to Be Light-Hearted in a Dark World," and will be held on Saturday, July 5th at 2 pm in Poorman Auditorium on the Messiah College campus.
This Joy Seminar reveals practical insights on how to en-lighten up, and live from your true, serenely-jubilant Center, delightfully & brightfully, here & now.
Why not? What have we got better to do, for heaven's sake?
Hope to see you, soon, under one divinely-arranged pretext or another.
Yours, in the Divine Conspiracy
to Smuggle Joy into the World,
Your friend,
Burt
P.S.
{The Messiah Conference is a large gathering of Messianic Jews and gentiles, with all sorts of wonderful music, powerful messages and sancitified shmoozing. The Messiah Conference, itself, actually goes for a full week, from June 29th to July 5th, although you can attend for just one the day, if you just want to come for the July 5th Joy Seminar.
