Male Birds

Online source: 'In many species the male bird's skill at nest building is a sign of his suitability as a mate; he invests huge effort in the task. Males of the European house wren build up to 12 nests to attract females. They will continue to build new nests until a female is happy with the construction.'. Now there's a nature source to follow!

Also, in the peacock family, the male obviously is the more beautiful one, the diplomat, out on the front lines, while the female is made to HIDE while she protects the young.  Most birds are the same.  The male peacock spreads his feathers in order to attract the female!

In the west, in Christendom, we've followed this paradigm. In ancient days women were not allowed on stage, men played the females. And even in church they were not allowed to sing, thus the boys choirs were invented, to sing high parts.

Also, most rock musicians and other male musicians have done their work mainly to attract females.
