This was a pretty good romantic comedy. Go here. The only disappointment is the sleeping together part, but you wonder if that is in fact realistic - maybe that would happen at that point in the relationship in real life. In comments you can share if you think yes or no. Basically they stick to the idea of a committed, loving relationship and it is pretty sweet.
Hugh Grant plays an 80's pop star who is living on his past glory, now washed up and reduced to working at county fairs and amusement parks, making what money he can off those who enjoy the nostalgia.
He is charismatic and talented enough, and he gets a chance at a comeback when the reigning diva Cora Corman invites him to write and record a duet with her.
Grant does a good job of playing the washed up star and Barrymore is good as usual as the female leading role. She shows up at his apartment to take care of his plants, and that's how she meets him. I'll try not to spoil it. It has some good laughs.

I really like this movie. It's got a good sound track, witty dialog, and great character interaction.
Thanks for commenting Bill. I was barely finishing this post! Yikes!
Funny that you mentioned this movie because I was just talking about it with a friend today. She doesn't like it nearly as much as I do.
Guess she just doesn't appreciate a good cheesy movie.
I forgot to mention the soundtrack. It was good, especially the song they wrote together - really nice!
I was actually hoping for some dialogue such as....since this isn't a "Christian" film we don't expect as much from it. If they were Christians, they probably would have restraint and decide to abstain at that point in the relationship, right?
