Look at so many deaths that have occurred and notice how they have a religion coupled with politics base. 

They all do.

I'm not including ICE related deaths though you could argue that the two dead in Minneapolis were making politics their religion. 

Charlie Kirk was too politically religious. In the twin cities a pastor killed two Democrats. A trans killed students at a Catholic school. 

More killing occurred at another faith based school. 

I think Reiner made the mistake of attacking Republicans in his film about faith becoming political. He used his film about the danger of political faith to be political about it!!

And was he making his politics religious?

This mix of politics and religion seems to be potent.
