The Law

There's plenty of doing what is against God's law but is not against civic law.

Being caught when breaking civic law is sometimes the only solution, to end the lawbreaking, while some escape this. 

But if what is done is only against God's law then all you have is karma, conscience, an awareness of future consequence, hopefully spelled out by genuine Christian believers. 

And many live without any of these. So they damn themselves. And the warning.goes unheard. 

If it's against God's law and civic law and a person is caught it may result in their salvation, i.e. Jeffrey Dahmer. 

The guy who found himself in hell suddenly after he had said he planned to build "bigger barns" but God said no you are done, wanted to warn people but Abraham said that would not be possible. I think one reason is bc the guy never cared about people when he lived on earth so he probably didn't care now that he was in hell, besides possibly helping to cause people to go to hell. Maybe he hope for time out of hell.
