That seems to be theme of my life right now, what with the bridge in Minneapolis having just collapsed and several people having been tragically lost. All of us have been reminded of our fragility (some of us just went that route when we went to Keegan's pub for the MOB event!) and my mom has just been struck, in her elderly fragility, with some jabbing pain that is robbing her of her wonderful vitality that she has had up 'til now.
Sting said it best:

How fragile we are
How fragile we are
My thoughts and prayers are going out to those who are suffering a great loss today as a result of this tragedy!
