Like This Proves Something

Just because one 100 year old lady is still alive and smoking away doesn't discount all the miserable people who smoke and who have contracted lung cancer due to smoking. Smoking is the grossest, most disgusting habit. It gives people the worst breath. It creates the most disgusting odor in their homes and cars. Ick ick ick! I think the smoking bans are too harsh on smokers, but as a non-smoker, I am also relieved to not have to deal with smoking.

I worked at a mortgage company where most of the employees were young - in their twenties. Almost every one of them would go out on their break for a smoke! They were like chimneys. I am wondering if the smoking bans are going to help people to quit or prevent people from starting to smoke.
