I've known him now for so many years - 18, 19? Too many to count. All this time he has been dodging God. He's always in a wrong relationship with a woman, and even now he's been living with someone outside of wedlock.
Our relationship began back when I was distant from God and has seen many changes in my life, where I've come back to God and the church. I've never felt that he was interfering with me and God, but now I've finally come to the place where I'm dissatisfied with his lack of growth. He goes around in circles and never comes around to turning his life over to God. He's immature. He borrowed money from me ($200.00) and now is delaying paying it back. This may be because he's mad at me for a small thing that has to do with inconveniencing him. In any case he's ignoring me.
He ignores me until he's having trouble with his relationship with his girlfriend, then he comes around a lot and seeks my company. It's based on his need, not on mutual seeking what's best for each other. So, I give to him as a friend knowing I'm not receiving in return.
He used to take me out to eat a lot in exchange for nothing more than friendship and has always been funny. But now I see his immaturity and I'm tired of him dodging God.

Let God work with this guy on his own timing. You dont need to feel responsible for Dominck. Just keep being a friend.
"On his own timing" is good advice. I'm getting impatient because time is passing while Dom. is overdue on paying me back money he promised already. Thanks for the advice.
Wow - he just paid me back! Thanks for the prayers everyone! I'll be doing an update on him.
Friendship goes a long way and does some amazing things!
